The terms that apply to World News Company's news services.
Last updated: September 2026
In these terms, "WNC" refers to World News Company. "Client" refers to the radio station operator or other party that receives a news service from WNC. These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, requests and agreements between WNC and the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
WNC provides tailored radio news bulletins, including Free AI News, Pro News, Premium News, Premium Plus and regional/local news services, as further described on the website and in the request confirmation. Bulletins are delivered automatically via the RTV Software downloader, based on a personal download link provided to the client.
WNC makes every effort to deliver bulletins according to the agreed schedule and content, but cannot guarantee that the service will be available at all times without interruption or error (see also Article 7, Liability).
An agreement is formed once WNC has confirmed a request submitted via the request form or otherwise. WNC reserves the right to decline a request without giving a reason.
Current prices are listed on the website and exclude 21% VAT, unless stated otherwise. WNC reserves the right to change prices from time to time; existing agreements will be informed of this in advance. Payment is made on a monthly, prepaid basis, unless a different payment term has been agreed for a specific package (such as Premium Plus). Payment can be made via iDeal, credit card or PayPal, or another method offered by WNC.
Free AI News is offered free of charge; WNC may attach the condition that the client provides periodic feedback about the service.
Agreements are entered into on a monthly basis, without an annual commitment and without a notice period, unless a different term (such as prepayment for multiple months) has been agreed in writing for a specific package. Either the client or WNC may terminate the agreement by giving notice in writing (including by email).
WNC may suspend or terminate the service if the client fails to meet a payment obligation, or uses the service in a manner that violates these terms or applicable laws and regulations.
The news bulletins delivered by WNC may only be used by the client for broadcast via the client's own radio station for which the service was purchased. Resale, redistribution to third parties, or use for a different station than the one for which the service was requested, is not permitted without WNC's prior written consent.
All intellectual property rights to content produced by WNC (including text, audio and the software used) belong to WNC or its licensors.
WNC is not liable for damages resulting from bulletins not being available, not being available on time, or being incompletely available, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of WNC. WNC's total liability for direct damages is in any case limited to the amount the client has paid to WNC in the preceding three months. WNC is never liable for indirect damages, including consequential damages and loss of income.
WNC is not obliged to fulfil any obligation if prevented from doing so as a result of force majeure, which in any case includes disruptions at third parties (including providers of internet or server services), power outages, and other circumstances beyond WNC's reasonable control.
When a client switches from another news service provider to WNC, the client's current contract with the existing provider may, by mutual agreement, be taken over at the same rate. This is always done on the basis of individual arrangements and does not constitute an automatic right.
Complaints about the service can be reported via contact@worldnewscompany.com. WNC aims to handle complaints within a reasonable timeframe.
WNC may amend these general terms and conditions from time to time. The most current version can always be consulted via the website. The date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last updated.
Dutch law applies to all agreements between WNC and the client. Disputes will preferably be resolved through mutual consultation; if the parties are unable to reach agreement, the competent court in the Netherlands shall have jurisdiction over the dispute.
