Setting up the RTV Software downloader

With the RTV Software downloader, your broadcast system automatically downloads the audio files at the times you set yourself.

You'll receive the download link for the RTV Software downloader and your personal news link after completing the request form.

1. Installing

Run the downloaded installation file and choose a location on your computer where the program should be extracted. Then run setup.exe.

2. Setting the options

  • Destination folder — where downloaded files are stored.
  • Windows XP mode — only for Windows XP or 2000.

3. Adding a task

  • Task name — for example “WNC News”.
  • Download address — your personal URL.
  • File name — for example wncnews.mp3.
  • Download times — the hours at which downloads should occur.
  • Minutes — preferably xx:58, 2 minutes before the hour.

Good to know

After setup, it takes about 2 hours before our database is updated. After that, news can be downloaded automatically.

Want to fetch a file right away? Choose “Forced download”, select a task and click Download now.
