General about WNC

What does World News Company do?
WNC has been delivering tailored radio news to Dutch radio stations for more than 15 years — from a free AI bulletin to fully produced regional news, refreshed every hour. WNC delivers Dutch-language world news, translated from English, German and Spanish sources, voiced by both human newsreaders and AI voices.
Who is WNC for?
For radio stations, and local and regional broadcasters looking for professional, current news — without having to set up their own newsroom.

Packages & pricing

What packages are available?
Free AI News (free), Pro News (€28 per month), Premium News (€35 per month) and Premium Plus (€41 per month with 6 months' payment in advance). All prices exclude 21% VAT. View the full comparison.
What's the difference between Pro News and Premium News?
Pro News is delivered with a WNC sign-on/off. Premium News doesn't have this, and no audio bed either, making it easier to combine with your own station logo or jingle.
Can I get a custom offer?
Yes, get in touch — there's often room to discuss a suitable offer or custom pricing.

Free trial

Can I try a package before committing?
Yes. Pro News, Premium News and Premium Plus can be trialled completely free of charge on your own station. Free AI News is fully free anyway.
How do I request a free trial?
Fill out the request form completely. You'll then receive your personal download link for the chosen package.

Requesting & installation

How does the request process work?
You fill out the request form, receive a personal news link, enter it into the RTV Software downloader, and bulletins are automatically fetched from that point on.
How do I install the RTV Software downloader?
View the step-by-step guide on the installation page, or the full manual via the official RTV Software wiki.
How long until my first bulletin is available?
After setup, it takes about 2 hours before the database is updated and news can be downloaded automatically. Want to fetch a file right away? Use the "Forced download" option.

Payment

How can I pay?
Via iDeal, credit card or PayPal.
Do I need to sign an annual contract?
No. WNC works without an annual contract and without a notice period — there are only monthly agreements paid in advance.

Switching

I'm already with another news provider, can I switch?
Yes, easily. In many cases WNC will take over your current provider's contract, at the same rate. Read more on the switching page.

Regional & local news

Does WNC also provide regional or local news?
Yes, with our own newsdesk and dedicated newsreaders. There are various rate options starting from 3 bulletins per day — view the regional rates.
Can regional news also be produced with AI?
Yes, that can also be fully automated via your own RSS feed. Ask about the options for your region.

Outages

I've suddenly stopped receiving news, what now?
Report this via the contact form or the chat assistant in the bottom right. The cause is often a changed IP address of the computer running the download software — providers sometimes change this — so keep that handy.

Newsreaders & AI

Who are WNC's newsreaders?
A team of experienced newsreaders, complemented by AI newsreaders Sarah, Frans and Lucas. View the whole team on the newsreaders page.
Does AI replace the human newsreaders?
No. AI newsreaders are a complement to the human team, for example for the free AI bulletin or to ensure continuity outside regular hours — not a replacement.
