How World News Company handles the personal data collected through this website.
Last updated: August 2026
World News Company (WNC) provides tailored radio news to Dutch radio stations. This statement describes what data we collect through this website, why, and how you have control over it. Questions? Email contact@worldnewscompany.com.
Contact and request forms. When you fill out the contact form or request form, we receive the data you enter yourself (such as name, station, email address, phone number, address and the IP address of your download computer). We use this data solely to process your request and get in touch with you.
Chat assistant. Conversations with the chat assistant on this website are processed in order to answer your question. To allow our team to quickly review incidents or extensive queries, certain conversations are automatically forwarded to an internal WNC communication channel. Please do not share sensitive personal data in the chat that isn't necessary to answer your question.
Technical data. Like most websites, our server keeps basic technical log data (such as IP address and time of visit) for security and troubleshooting purposes. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
Session storage. This website uses your browser's technical storage (sessionStorage) to, for example, remember a chat conversation as you navigate the site, and to let the "Now AI On Air" player continue playing. This data is never sent to a server and disappears automatically once you close your browser tab.
We do not retain your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as long as legally required (for example, for tax authorities in the context of an ongoing customer relationship).
We never sell your data to third parties. Data may be shared with parties that support us in delivering our service (such as hosting providers), strictly to the extent necessary.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Please contact us via contact@worldnewscompany.com. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
